Overview

The Dark Harbor 20s are a racing class made famous, and still quite active, on the Maine coast.  Rockport Marine built this beautiful cold-molded version of the Sparkman & Stephens classic.

The Dark Harbor 20s are long-ended, with a short fin keel.  The sail plan is a conventional marconi sloop with the headstay going three-quarters of the way to the masthead (what is now called a fractional rig).  A small cuddy cabin with two berths provides shelter below for crew, as well as a dry place to keep sails, picnic baskets and kit.  Comfortable for adult sleeping during regattas or family cruises.

SUSAN (ex. GHOST) is reported to be in excellent condition with full-battened main, lazy jacks, roller-furling, spinnaker, spinnaker pole, whisker pole, etc.  Whether short-handed sailing, racing or family cruising, she is ready to launch and sail away.
